Calling All Artists: The Make Up For Ever Pro Road Show in Boston
I’m tremendously excited and honored to have been invited to serve as a panelist at the Make Up For Ever Pro Road Show in Boston, a 3-day networking & educational event (as well as shopping opportunity) that is free for industry professionals, such as makeup artists, hairstylists, salon owners/employees, and beauty students. This is the kind of programming that you typically have to travel to NYC or L.A. for, so don’t miss out!
Here are the details (or you can view the official invite below):
- Who: Make Up For Ever Pro and a slew of amazing artists from NYC & Boston!
- When: Sat Aug. 18 – Mon Aug 20, 10am-7pm daily
- Where: The W Hotel, 2nd Floor (Great Room), 100 Stuart St., Boston MA
- How: register, view the schedule, or visit the Facebook event page here
The career panel I’m serving on alongside two other local pro artists (lead by brand exec Michael DeVellis) is called “Getting the Work You Want” – it will take place on Monday the 20th at 4:30pm. I hope to see many of my professional colleagues there, and to meet amazing new people as well!

Way to go Alex!
Alex Minkin, one of the photographers I work with frequently, has been featured on the Profoto blog – read the article here.
My favorite part is the picture of the crazy configuration of beauty dishes that he used to get this photo:
You can see why I was raving about Hallmark’s studios and equipment in my last entry!
